OBTAINING A VCU E-MAIL ACCOUNT

An e-mail account is created automatically for all accepted students. Your e-mail address is your eID@vcu.edu.

What's my eID?

Your eID is your identifier to authenticate you to use many VCU electronic services and web applications. Currently, the eID is used to gain access to the VCU Portal, wireless network, the VCU Mail Anywhere e-mail system, Blackboard Course Management System, VCUFiles, Domino Quickplaces and some departmental applications. Future applications that will use the eID include Library Applications and most VCU web applications including web access to the Administrative Systems.

I've forgotten my eID password. How do I get it reset?

If you've forgotten your old password, you can call the VCU Technology Services Help Desk at 828-2227.
