Microsoft Office 2003 Compatibility Pack
By installing the Compatibility Pack in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office
XP, or Office 2003, you will be able to open, edit, and save files using the file
formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007. The Compatibility Pack can also
be used in conjunction with the Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003, Excel Viewer
2003, and PowerPoint Viewer 2003 to view files saved in these new formats. Click

all updates from Microsoft Update
before installing this compatability pack.
Novell to Microsoft Server Migration
As of Friday, July 11th the computer lab workstations in Smith-350 and Smith 203
will be setup to connect to Microsoft Windows Server (Active Directory) Services
from Novell Netware. This change will require all users (Students, Faculty, and
Staff) to login to the network using your “e-I.D.” name and password created during
your initial login process.
During the period of August 23 – September 7th, someone will be on staff in Smith-350
to assist with any questions, support, or problems that you may have regarding the
use of the Pharmacy Student Computer Lab Workstations.
