- Kathleen Cauley I am interested in research about what helps students learn most effectively. Currently I’m examining the transition of students into middle school and high school so achievement and engagement remain high. I’m also working on the impact of high stakes tests, esp. SOL tests, on student motivation, academic engagement, and other measures of student learning.
